Elise & Ian’s engagement session was about as perfect as it gets! I met up with the two of them at the Lincoln Park Zoo boardwalk and we had an overcast day which made it so easy to shoot everywhere! Elise’s dress coordinated perfectly with Ian’s outfit and I loved that his pocket square matched the color of her dress. It’s little details like that that make your outfits amazing.
We walked around a bit and it started drizzling a little which was in the forecast. Luckily, I had my clear umbrellas with me and we definitely made use of them because they were so darn cute anyway! The rain cleared away and we finished up and made our way over to North Avenue Beach for some skyline shots which are always a favorite. After we were done and walking back towards the cars, it started raining pretty hard so I guess we lucked out!
I’m so bummed that I was already booked on their wedding day because I would have loved to shoot them again. I hope your wedding day is beautiful and the rain stays away for it ;)
