Kara + Nick - Fairlane Club Dearborn Michigan Wedding — Nicole Morisco Photography

I could say so many amazing things about Kara and Nick, but then this blog post would be WAY too long! These two have been together for over 8 years! They met the first week in college at a bible study on campus and Kara was caught off guard by how funny and cute Nick was! They went out the following weekend and have been together ever since! They were long distance for over 5 years, so their favorite things currently include snuggling and spending whatever time together that they can at their new house that they just bought!

I arrived at the church in the morning and hung out while the girls got ready in the room at the Allen Park Church of Christ. The guys also arrived there and of course had to order a pizza (best wedding getting ready idea ever as long as it doesn’t get on the clothes!) Speaking of clothing mishaps, one of Nicks groomsmen ripped his pants in the back and thankfully they had another groomsmen that could sew! That’s the fun part about my job is you have to be ready for anything and be able to think on your feet.

Before the ceremony, Kara and Nick opted not to see each other but held hands and said a quick prayer together from opposite sides of the door. It was such a sweet moment! The ceremony was lead by Kara’s grandfather and he did an amazing job! All their friends and family were so happy to watch them share their vows and I loved catching their excited moments together after the ceremony ended outside with their bridal party. After, we headed to a park in Dearborn and got some stunning photos as the sun was beginning to set. You have to love all those gorgeous greens and yellows as the leaves were beginning to turn!

We then made our way to the Fairlane Club in Dearborn for their reception. I have to say, they sure knew how to get everyone on the dance floor! It was packed the whole time with dance battles and dance circles going on.
