I met Alison and John over 10 years ago and we bonded over beach volleyball! A couple years back, they moved out to Arizona and soon got engaged and were looking for a wedding photographer. When she asked me, I of course didn’t even think twice about it!
Schnepf Farms was the perfect backdrop for her boho themed wedding. I love how everything is so open and outdoors. The weather was perfect and not even too hot considering it was Arizona! There is a little spot outdoors that used to actually be the office for the building but it burnt down partially and they turned it into a gorgeous area that was the ideal spot to shoot Ali’s details.
After everyone getting ready, we made the trip over to a little secluded spot for their first look. I love how excited John was to see Ali. We finished up their portraits under the gorgeous greenery and around the farm.
The ceremony was breathtaking and all the floral done by Love in Bloom was the perfect touches for their archway. Ali loves sunflowers and they were such a great pop of color for photos. My favorite part of the ceremony was when Ali had to pronounce her new last name and since John is Greek, you best believe it is a bit harder to pronounce. Everyone got a laugh and then the ceremony was sealed with a kiss!
We made sure to take a couple of last minute sunset photos because those are almost ALWAYS a favorite for my couples. The night was followed up by lots of amazing speeches and great pasta! They even had a cute little s’mores bar set up with a fire pit along with many other desserts to choose from! The night ended with tons of dancing and even some fireworks.
Ali & John, thank you so much for having me photograph and enjoy your wedding. I can’t wait to come back and visit you two (and Pippen <3)
